One Sweater, Two Ways

This Maude sweater came in the mail a few days ago and I am obsessed. This sweater is the perfect length, bulk, and color. It goes with so many things, and can be worn so many different ways. I know I will wear it all fall and winter.

In the top images, I paired this sweater with some ripped Gap jeans, my favorite ASOS snakeskin booties, and added a pop of color with the cutest DVF purse (thank you TJMAXX)! I can see myself wearing this combo out to dinner or for a night out. In the bottom images, I paired this sweater over a longer white tank and my ALDO over the knee boots. Since my boots have a low heel, and my pants are a snugger fit, the longer tank covers up some of my problem areas while making me feel more comfortable. Some people shy away from cropped tops and sweaters when really they are versatile and flattering when worn in a way that makes you feel good.

Even though I’ve just shown you two ways to wear this piece, I have imagined so many more. This chunky sweater would look wonderful with ripped denim and tennis shoes, over a dress to a nicer dinner, and layered over a plaid button down when the temperature drops. This sweater has already sold out on Maude’s website, but they have a million other sweaters that have similar looks. I am eyeing them all, and can’t wait to order another!

Which look is your favorite, and what other ways do you style your favorite sweater?

Until Next Time,

Susan E.

  1. Wow!! LOVING this look girl!! Shopmaude is one of my favorite shops too! They have the best sweaters for fall right now. Also, those snakeskin ankle boots are just too perfect! I might just need to get myself a pair! Thanks for sharing girl!
